Our Tools
Active Release Technique
ART® is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system/movement-based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia & nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems & tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles. The ART® provider first uses their hands to evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments & nerves. Next, abnormal tissues are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.
Graston Technique
Graston Technique (GT) therapy is effective in treating all soft tissue conditions, whether they are chronic, acute, or post-surgical. GT therapy can help you enjoy your life again. Our unique instruments & technique enable the treatment of scar tissue & fascial restrictions during rehabilitation that allows for faster rehabilitation with greater success when the goal is increasing the range of motion, eliminating pain & restoring normal function.
Dynamic Cupping
Dynamic cupping is a unique treatment that is useful for breaking up adhesions, increasing blood flow and getting tissues to slide and glide past each other through the use of pressurized cups. Soft tissue is suctioned inside the cups allowing for fluid movement & increased nutrient supply to the tissues. It is effective in decreasing stiffness, pain & fascial restrictions. It also improves mobility, tissue health & blood flow. Most bruising or marking can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. It is most commonly used as an adjunct treatment with other myofascial release techniques & therapeutic exercise to encourage long-term relief.
Rocktape
Rocktape is a kinesiology tape that focuses on pain mitigation, decompression & neurosensory input. The biggest organ in our body is the skin; therefore, Rocktape affects our neurosensory system by touching the skin. It improves the awareness & mental connection you have from the brain to the area being treated. The tape helps with elongating a neurological window that is open to help retrain your brain. Things like movement & exercise, while the tape is on, will make all the difference in helping clear up those neurological connections.
